Delivering a Dynamic Learning Environment with the Panopto + Epiphan Integration

NC State University, a public land-grant research university, needed to expand lecture recording capabilities across more classrooms to better serve students and faculty. Working with Panopto and the Epiphan Pearl Mini, the university aimed to create a more integrated, accessible learning environment and make class recordings easier for instructors to provide.

Panopto helped NC State implement a seamless lecture capture setup with camera, computer, and ceiling microphone sources, plus automated recording and LMS upload. As a result, lecture capture capacity quadrupled, more than 40,000 students benefited, and the university reduced content creation effort by 70%, while also improving accessibility for in-person, online, and disabled students.
