Zeek, a Tel Aviv–based ecommerce gift card marketplace founded in 2013, faced the challenge of unifying countless disparate data sources (Mixpanel, Mailchimp, Zendesk, AppsFlyer, Google, Facebook Ads, Amazon S3, etc.) into a single relational view that data scientists and analysts could query and visualize without relying on IT. To solve this they adopted Panoply’s smart data warehouse to centralize ingestion and make all sources accessible for standard BI and analytics tools.
Panoply migrated Zeek’s data sources into a self‑optimizing warehouse, automating ETL, schema handling (Automatic Data Modeling), query performance, and S3 archiving to reduce storage costs. The move let analysts access a much richer dataset almost immediately, supported daily code/data deployments without reconfiguration, and saved Zeek at least six months of man‑hours in analytics infrastructure development while eliminating the need to build in‑house data warehousing expertise.
