The Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society, Ecuador’s government body for technology and communications, needed complete visual monitoring for the Undersecretary of Electronic Government because administrators had no system to receive alerts or manage infrastructure components. They chose Pandora FMS’s monitoring platform—deploying Pandora FMS agents and the console, with plans to add the Pandora FMS User Experience module—to fill those gaps.

Pandora FMS installed agents across the infrastructure, configured alerts, thresholds and templates, and integrated quick notifications via Telegram and email, resulting in monitoring of more than 150 devices and achieving a 100% SLA. The Pandora FMS deployment simplified administration, enabled SLA measurement and task statistics, helped prevent service infrastructure damage, provided customizable modules and visual monitoring, and replaced a previous tool at lower cost.
