Moving from Excel to Centralized Test Management

Asahi Glass Company (AGC), a Tokyo‑headquartered global leader in glass manufacturing and a core Mitsubishi company, needed a better way to manage testing. Relying on Excel files, whiteboards and individually run processes created coordination, collaboration and documentation problems that made testing workflows chaotic and hard to track.

The company adopted Panaya Test Dynamix and a new user acceptance testing (UAT) methodology to standardize handoffs and centralize workflow-based test management. The change eliminated workflow chaos, gave testers control of the process, provided an integrated view of progress, and increased efficiency—enabling AGC to complete more testing with fewer testers and shift focus from logistics to actual testing.
