Hillarys, a leading UK-based retailer of blinds, curtains, shutters and carpets with multiple locations, around 1,000 remote sales devices and a market-leading online business, needed to update its SAP environment to S/4HANA. The scale and complexity of the update — affecting ECC, CRM, BW and integrations across SMP and PI — threatened prolonged disruption and, using original resourcing, was estimated to take three years.
Working with Panaya, Hillarys used automated planning and risk analysis to accurately estimate time, effort and cost, enabling a fast, low-risk execution. The project migrated the SAP Business Suite to SAP S/4HANA, prepared ECCs for S/4 readiness, managed integration impacts and minimized downtime — completing a three‑year effort in under six months.
