International Bar Association launches event scanner in under 8 weeks with Panaxeo

The International Bar Association (IBA), a foremost global organization for legal practitioners, faced a significant challenge in efficiently tracking attendance at its large-scale events, which could host over 5,000 attendees. Their previous hardware-based solution was slow, bulky, and required physical plug-ins to synchronize data, creating a major operational headache. To solve this, they engaged Panaxeo to develop a tailored event scanning app.

Panaxeo built the IBA Event Scanner, a low-code mobile app for Android and iOS, along with a backend admin console. The solution featured automatic synchronization, an offline mode, and duplicate detection. Developed in under eight weeks on time and within budget, the app was a major success, processing 26,000 scans without a single crash at one conference and immensely improving IBA's event management systems.
