Climate Impact X launches 34-project carbon marketplace with PALO IT

PALO IT partnered with Climate Impact X (CIX), a Singapore-based carbon exchange, to address challenges in the voluntary carbon market, including inadequate governance and a prevailing sense of mistrust. Their goal was to launch a global spot trading platform to enable the trade of large volumes of verified carbon credits.

PALO IT co-designed and built the CIX Exchange platform, creating a seamless user interface and an open registry system. This solution allows professionals to seamlessly register and trade different types of verified carbon credits. The outcomes included a globally accessible spot trading platform and an open registry featuring 34 single nature-based projects and a standardized contract, creating a connected carbon market infrastructure.
