Yancey Bros., a Georgia-based Caterpillar dealer with about 1,500 employees across more than 30 remote sites, was relying on VeloCloud bundled with a single telco’s expensive MPLS service and lacked the flexibility, redundancy, and network visibility needed to support growth. The company wanted multi-provider connectivity, lower costs, reliable voice and application performance, and real-time visibility for its centralized IT team.

Yancey Bros. deployed Palo Alto Networks Prisma SD-WAN, implemented in weeks and replicated across branches using a central template, enabling use of three cable providers and three major telcos. The project delivered over $150,000 in first-year savings plus higher uptime, better network visibility and flexibility, easier centralized management, and plans to expand Palo Alto Networks’ cloud security services.
