VINCI standardises on Cortex XDR across 200,000 endpoints worldwide

VINCI, a global construction, concessions and energy company with 280,000 employees and 200,000 endpoints worldwide, needed a single connected endpoint security platform to improve detection and response across its multiple SecOps teams. As an existing Palo Alto Networks customer, VINCI chose Cortex XDR to gain better visibility and faster remediation across its global environment.

Palo Alto Networks implemented Cortex XDR across almost all of VINCI’s endpoints, using a single agent, local AI and behavioural analytics to block malicious activity and detect attacks before they caused a breach. The results were significant: mean time to detect threats dropped to about 3 hours from days, incidents that once took weeks to investigate can now be remediated in hours, and VINCI now has full visibility across 200,000 endpoints, with several SOCs also integrating Cortex XSOAR to automate investigations and ticket handling.
