Corporación Celeste is Ecuador’s leading housing developer (Ciudad Celeste) with about 450 employees that migrated core operations to SaaS (Salesforce, Google Workspace, Oracle). The company faced inadequate and inconsistent native SaaS protections, limited visibility into cloud activity, and a sudden Covid-driven shift to remote work—390 employees working from home using roughly 700 devices—creating high risk of data leaks and compliance gaps.

Working with Ondú Cloud, Corporación Celeste deployed Palo Alto Networks SaaS Security (CASB) and Enterprise DLP to secure all sanctioned and unsanctioned SaaS access without host agents and with centralized management. Deployed in late 2020, the solution delivered full visibility, automated protections, and reporting (flagging ~2,000 monthly attacks and risky Google Workspace sharing), reduced data-leak risk, simplified administration, and enabled scalable, future-proof security aligned to a Zero Trust/SASE roadmap.
