Plantasjen, a leading Nordic garden retail group with 2,400 employees and nearly 130 stores, was struggling with fragmented legacy network and endpoint security tools that created complexity, security gaps, and heavy manual work. As its store, warehouse, cloud, and e-commerce environments expanded, Plantasjen needed a simpler, more unified security approach from Palo Alto Networks to protect POS systems, customer data, and remote users.

Palo Alto Networks replaced Plantasjen’s disconnected platforms with PA-Series and VM-Series firewalls, Cloud-Delivered Security Services, GlobalProtect, and Cortex XDR. The result was centralized visibility, stronger threat prevention, and rapid deployment across 1,000+ endpoints and 100+ servers; most notably, Plantasjen stopped the 2021 Kaseya ransomware attack without shutting any stores or losing a single Norwegian Krone in revenue.
