Mainfreight gains centralized visibility across 300 branches with Palo Alto Networks

Mainfreight, a global logistics company with over 12,000 employees, faced challenges with its distributed endpoint security. The lack of a centralized view for incident response across its 300 global branches created inefficiencies and a counter-productive security posture. To address this, Mainfreight partnered with vendor Palo Alto Networks to implement enhanced security operations.

The solution deployed was Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR, integrated with their existing Next-Generation Firewalls and managed by partner LinearStack. This provided Mainfreight with centralized visibility and strong behavioral-based detection. The implementation of over 1,300 proprietary behavioral indicators of compromise (BIoCs) resulted in a significant reduction in the time to detect and respond to incidents, ensuring threats are mitigated in a timely manner.
