Leading Cloud Hosting Provider Protects Core Client Operations in Multi-Cloud Environments with Zero Trust

FNTS, a Nebraska-based cloud hosting and managed services provider, modernized its data center into a hyperconverged, micro‑segmented, software‑defined environment and faced a core challenge: traditional point-product security could not extend consistent network and endpoint protections across private and public clouds without adding complexity or disrupting client operations.

To address this, FNTS deployed the Palo Alto Networks Security Operating Platform (integrated with VMware NSX and managed via Panorama), plus Traps, WildFire, AutoFocus, GlobalProtect and Prisma, to implement a Zero Trust posture across network, endpoints, and multi‑cloud environments. The unified platform delivered centralized policy enforcement and visibility, automated threat protection and faster incident response, prevented malware-related server downtime (saving about two days per month), and helped FNTS meet or exceed client SLAs while strengthening customer trust.
