A Palo Alto Networks Case Study
Eczacibasi is a major Turkish industrial group (46 companies, ~12,000 employees) with manufacturing operations across Europe that needed to modernize network security. The company faced insecure, inflexible remote access (including complex routing via a Germany data centre), legacy firewalls nearing end of life, and rising threats against operational technology (OT) controlling production lines that lacked proper segmentation and OT-aware controls.
Eczacibasi deployed Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Access, ML‑powered Next‑Generation Firewalls with Panorama management and threat prevention to provide cloud‑delivered secure access, centralized policy management, and OT microsegmentation. The rollout secured remote access for 1,000+ staff across several countries, protects thousands of users at the internet edge, constrains lateral movement in factories, improves visibility and OT control, and reduced cost and complexity by replacing fragmented legacy systems—boosting operational resilience and enabling safer remote collaboration.
