Ctac cuts shared firewall configuration time from 5 hours to 1 minute with Palo Alto Networks

Ctac, a leading European IT services provider, faced challenges securing its clients' managed services with an outdated, port-based stateful inspection firewall. This approach was insufficient to prevent advanced and unknown threats across their expanding cloud environments. To address this, Ctac turned to Palo Alto Networks for a more dynamic and secure solution.

Palo Alto Networks provided Ctac with its ML-Powered Next-Generation Firewalls, including the VM-Series virtual firewalls managed by Panorama. This solution segregated 37 client clusters for improved security and risk management. The implementation drastically reduced the time for shared configuration updates from 5 hours to 1 minute and provided 100% of firewalls with single-pane-of-glass management. This resulted in a lower cost of operation, reduced risk, and robust protection for client assets.
