Coca-Cola Europacific Partners secures 1,000 admin accounts with Palo Alto Networks

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), the world's largest independent Coca-Cola bottler, faced growing cybersecurity risks as it pursued its goal of becoming the world's most digitized bottling operation. Its Australian, Pacific and Indonesian (API) operation needed to improve oversight and control over privileged access to systems and data to mitigate risk and ensure compliance. They partnered with Palo Alto Networks to implement its Idira Privileged Access Management platform.

The Palo Alto Networks solution provided CCEP API with a 360-degree view of privileged access activities and replaced manual, trust-based processes with automated security. The implementation quickly secured several hundred admin accounts, dramatically reducing the opportunity for abuse. The results included a more efficient and consistent approval process, improved audit performance for standards like PCI DSS, and set a new standard for privileged access management that other CCEP business units are now eager to replicate.
