Case Study: Darwinbox achieves zero high-priority incidents, 90% reduction in tool sprawl, and 30-minute compliance reports with Palo Alto Networks (Prisma Cloud & Prisma Access)

A Palo Alto Networks Case Study

Preview of the Darwinbox Case Study

Capitalizing on Palo Alto Networks for assured cloud visibility, user access, and security

Darwinbox, an agile cloud-native HCM platform serving 850+ organizations and 2.2M employees globally, faced tool sprawl, limited real-time monitoring, and security gaps from open-source tooling and OpenVPN that exposed internal applications. With cloud environments across six regions and fragmented logs and alerts, the lean security team needed consistent CSPM/CWP, container access control, and a secure remote access solution to stop internal tools being reachable from the internet.

Darwinbox deployed Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Cloud for unified cloud visibility and Prisma Access for secure, auditable VPN access. The consolidation cut disparate tools by 90%, reduced alerts from ~5,000 to 100, eliminated high-priority incidents (from ~1,000 in 2020 to 0), and trimmed compliance report time from 3–5 days to 30 minutes. The rollout also moved 50 internal tools onto a private network, improved response and resolution SLAs, and increased customer trust.
