Case Study: Ajinomoto achieves Zero Trust, secure and consistent remote access with Palo Alto Networks (Prisma Access)

A Palo Alto Networks Case Study

Preview of the Ajinomoto Case Study

Building a Zero Trust Network for The Ajinomoto Group

Ajinomoto Co., Inc., a global Japanese food and biotechnology company of about 34,600 employees, aimed to advance its ASV management and digital transformation by modernizing network security. Increasing cloud use and a shift to remote work exposed VPN scalability, performance and reliability limits, and the company needed to move from perimeter defenses to a Zero Trust model to address sophisticated cyberthreats.

After PoC testing, Ajinomoto deployed Palo Alto Networks’ Prisma Access with Panorama and Cortex Data Lake in a phased rollout to implement a cloud-delivered Zero Trust/SASE architecture. The solution delivered a consistent user experience and secure, convenient remote access, reduced operational complexity and cost, has operated smoothly since launch, and will be expanded to overseas sites with enhanced logging and centralized policy management.
