Australian Media Giant Secures Its Publishing Enterprise in the Cloud With Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform

Domain Group, one of Australia’s largest property media companies, needed to protect revenue‑critical print and digital publishing workflows from cyberattacks without slowing the business or adopting a complex physical security stack. The challenge was to prevent breaches that could disrupt tight production deadlines and costly revenue flows while keeping the company agile and cloud‑centric.

Domain deployed the Palo Alto Networks Next‑Generation Security Platform in its private cloud — using VM‑200 virtual firewalls, Panorama management and subscriptions including Threat Prevention, URL Filtering (PAN‑DB), GlobalProtect, WildFire, Traps and Aperture — to gain granular visibility and control from endpoints to the data center. The solution simplified policy management, automated threat prevention and enabled secure remote access; as a result Domain secured its cloud environment without losing control, tripled in size without adding network/security staff, improved traffic visibility, and freed IT to focus on value‑added projects.
