Total Produce, one of the world’s largest fresh produce companies with operations in 39 countries, needed stronger endpoint security as traditional antivirus software became too slow, difficult to manage, and ineffective against evolving threats. The customer turned to Palo Alto Networks Traps to better protect desktops and servers used across its global business.

Palo Alto Networks deployed Traps with the Endpoint Security Manager and WildFire integration, later moving management to the cloud-based Traps service and also using GlobalProtect for remote user security. The solution blocked threats including ransomware, crypto-viruses, and Word macros, stopped the WannaCry attack, and reduced infected systems while simplifying administration and improving endpoint performance across more than 1,400 devices.
