A Palo Alto Networks Traps Case Study
Jungfrau Railway Group, a tourism company operating in Switzerland, faced a significant challenge in securing its endpoint devices against increasing malware threats and ensuring application availability for its staff. Following a WannaCry ransomware attack, the company turned to vendor Palo Alto Networks and its Traps advanced endpoint protection solution to strengthen its cyber defenses.
Palo Alto Networks implemented its Traps solution, which replaces conventional antivirus with a multi-method approach to block malware and exploits. The results included heightened protection for nearly 600 staff devices, comprehensive threat visibility, and no system reinstalls due to malware since launch. The Palo Alto Networks solution also reduced the team's annual installation and remedial work by an estimated 10 to 20 days.
