DecisionTools Streamlines Distribution Management from Hours to Minutes

Logion BV, a Netherlands-based consultancy specializing in transportation, distribution and inventory management, faced slow, deterministic analysis using static Excel spreadsheets to support complex Activity Based Costing (ABC) models—some with up to 75 input variables—needed to optimize transportation planning, inventory levels, lead-time uncertainty and customer service. Palisade enabled Logion to fit probability distributions with @RISK, rank key drivers with TopRank, and run thousands of simulated scenarios to quantify uncertainty and trade-offs.
