The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) faced a challenge with its sprawling digital presence, which had been consolidated from 600 to 190 static websites. These sites used non-responsive templates that were not WCAG compliant and prevented the marketing team from creating new, on-brand pages. UHealth partnered with vendor Palantir.net to achieve its vision of a unified, modern platform.

Palantir.net implemented a comprehensive design system, bilingual user-tested navigation, and a new search strategy. The solution delivered a WCAG AA compliant and fully responsive platform, streamlining the digital presence from 190 sites down to just two. As a result, UHealth won a Silver eHealthcare Leadership Award for Best Patient Access and Convenience in 2018, and the vendor continued to partner with them on the next phase of their redesign.
