United Way of Miami-Dade, which works to improve education, financial stability and health across Miami-Dade and Monroe counties, needed to go paperless to cut paper and storage costs and improve document management across its main office and satellite locations. To meet this challenge they turned to PairSoft for a document-management solution that would centralize processing and reduce physical filing needs.
PairSoft was implemented as a scanning and document-management system (used alongside Blackbaud software) so staff could scan at the source and process data centrally, giving each employee scanners and dual monitors for fully paperless workflows. The result: file cabinets eliminated, three additional office spaces freed up (per-employee space reduced from 80 to 60 sq ft), dramatic reductions in paper, postage and storage costs, faster audits, and paperless payroll, accounts payable and donor management initiatives — all credited to PairSoft.
