Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA), a Tulsa-based ambulance services provider using Microsoft Dynamics GP, faced inefficient paper processes for roughly 400 invoices a month across four locations. Invoices were couriered, handled manually, and stored for seven years (including in a garage); a courier van fire that destroyed hundreds of invoices and a previous Ricoh solution that didn’t integrate with Dynamics GP prompted Microsoft Dynamics support to recommend PairSoft’s document management/invoice automation solution.
PairSoft was implemented in March 2013 with minimal customization and basic training, integrating invoices and purchase orders directly into Dynamics GP and attaching scanned documents to transactions with approval controls. PairSoft freed 12–16 hours per month, eliminated the need for a full-time temporary scanner and courier services, reclaimed storage space, prevented accidental loss, and saved EMSA about $600 per month in recurring costs.
