Baptist Child and Family Services (BCFS), a San Antonio–based health and human services organization with 14 offices and more than 700 employees, was struggling with rapid growth and piles of handwritten paper purchase orders and other documents. Seeking to go paperless and streamline accounts payable, BCFS’s CFO and IT team selected PairSoft to address their document and workflow challenges.

PairSoft integrated a scanning and automatic-filing workflow that stores requisitions and receipts in Microsoft SharePoint and links them to Blackbaud’s The Financial Edge, making documentation instantly searchable and accessible. As a result of PairSoft’s implementation, BCFS greatly reduced paper waste and storage, eliminated misplaced paperwork, streamlined accounts payable, and enabled employees to retrieve information quickly without leaving their desks.
