Stena Line, the Swedish ferry operator, needed a more secure way to process invoices and reduce errors across its international subsidiaries. The company began with scanning in 2006 and later partnered with Pagero Group to move toward e-invoicing and centralize inbound invoice handling at its Gothenburg head office.
Pagero Group supported Stena Line by contacting suppliers, enabling e-invoice connections, and helping centralize invoice management for ten group companies. As a result, Stena Line now receives 24% of its inbound invoices as e-invoices, with improved validation, fewer invoice-checking tasks, and more efficient operations.
