SKF achieved savings and increased transparency with Pagero

SKF, a global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication systems, was facing product availability issues and high distribution costs due to separate warehouses and a fragmented logistics setup. To improve customer service and gain better control over transportation operations, SKF looked for a transport management solution and partnered with Pagero Group, using Pagero’s open platform to support its logistics and cash-flow requirements.

Pagero Group helped SKF develop and roll out a Transport Management System (TMS) to centralise and manage transportation-related information flows, including invoices, delivery status, schedules and customer notifications. The solution delivered concrete results, including cost savings and increased transparency in SKF’s transportation business, while supporting a global track-and-trace capability across more than 30 European destinations and around 20 million transactions a year.
