Sandvik Mining, part of the Sandvik Group, needed better control over its global shipping operations across 130 countries. With about 170,000 shipments a year and freight costs of roughly €60 million, the company was struggling with scattered processes, limited visibility, and weak cost and delivery follow-up. Sandvik turned to Pagero Group and its transportation management and reporting tools to support a more centralized logistics model.

Pagero Group helped Sandvik Mining build a global Control Tower in Dublin, supported by regional towers and connected data from ERP and more than 100 external parties. Using Pagero Freight Solutions, Pagero TMS, and the Performance Tool, Sandvik automated invoice control, improved shipment visibility, and gained better cost and quality analysis by supplier, product, and destination. The result was higher process automation, improved internal and external visibility, and stronger cost follow-up to support better decision-making.
