Mälarenergi reduces their carbon footprint with Pagero’s services

Mälarenergi, an infra‑service company serving the Stockholm–Mälaren region with electricity, heating, cooling, water and communications (about 670 employees and a yearly turnover of ~3 BSEK), wanted to modernize its accounts payable to be more environmentally friendly and efficient. To achieve this they selected Pagero Group as their e‑invoice service provider and later engaged Pagero Group for invoice scanning as well.

Pagero Group implemented e‑invoicing and scanning services, accelerating invoice receipt and reducing administrative time for Mälarenergi’s roughly 45,000 inbound invoices per year. The move helped Mälarenergi meet its 2015 target—PDF‑ and e‑invoices reached 52% of inbound invoices—improved processing speed and efficiency, and provided strong support via Pagero Group’s Support Center, with the company planning to increase e‑invoice adoption further.
