Jotun India makes the transition to e-invoicing ahead of time

Jotun Group’s India business needed to quickly adapt to new e-invoicing regulations requiring invoice registration with the government, while avoiding disruption to its supply chain and customer deliveries. To manage this compliance challenge, Jotun partnered with Pagero Group and used Pagero’s e-invoicing and ERP integration capabilities.

Pagero Group implemented a solution that connected Jotun’s ERP to the government Invoice Registration Portal, enabling invoices to be approved, returned with QR codes and registration numbers, and included with shipments in compliance with GST rules. The transition was completed smoothly and ahead of the final deadline, with no major issues, and Jotun also reduced risk around GST credit losses, protecting an estimated 1-2% of credits that had previously been vulnerable to reconciliation delays.
