Atherton adds value to business and employees with Pagero AP Automation

Atherton, a long-established healthcare supplier in Australia, faced a slow, manual accounts payable process built around PDF invoices and repeated handoffs. With Pagero Group’s AP Automation and Pagero Online, Atherton set out to digitalise purchase-to-pay and order-to-cash while preparing for Australia’s e-invoicing requirements and Peppol compliance.

Pagero Group implemented automated invoice processing directly from Atherton’s IFS system, added Pagero Data Capture to eliminate manual entry, and enabled a fully automated, Peppol-compliant AP workflow. The result was 100% automated AP processing, around 40% of supplier invoices becoming true e-invoices, and a path toward 55% digital data intake and an 85% e-invoicing target; Atherton also reported significant time and cost savings, better traceability, improved sustainability, and more time for higher-value finance work.
