A Pagely Case Study

City of Boston - Customer Case Study

The City of Boston, home to over 600,000 residents and numerous departmental sites, faced frequent hacks and unsustainable upkeep for 20–30 legacy WordPress sites hosted on a private server. Lacking time and resources to maintain security and updates, the City turned to Pagely for managed WordPress hosting and migration to a more secure, AWS-backed environment.

Pagely migrated roughly 20 of Boston’s legacy sites, handled ongoing maintenance and support via chat, and significantly reduced security incidents, allowing city staff to spend time building services for constituents instead of maintaining WordPress. The City of Boston reports that Pagely “free[s] up our time,” and now hosts about 20 sites with improved reliability and security.
