The Student Hotel Group needed a scalable way to monitor the IT across its growing portfolio of hotels in the Netherlands and abroad, including networks, servers, gateways, switches, CCTV, room temperature, and guest check-in kiosks. Paessler AG’s PRTG Network Monitor was chosen to provide real-time visibility and support the company’s expansion ambitions.

Paessler AG implemented PRTG with probes at each hotel and a central dashboard in Amsterdam, enabling the IT team to monitor all locations from the office or remotely via desktop, iPad, and the PRTG app. The solution helped TSH detect and resolve issues quickly, including one network outage that was fixed within an hour and a half before guests noticed any disruption, improving reliability and ensuring 24/7 service for connected guests.
