Process Automation Solutions brings advanced monitoring functions to IT-OT networks with PRTG

Process Automation Solutions, a global industrial automation and digitalization specialist, needed better visibility into complex OT networks where monitoring was still limited but increasingly critical. To help manufacturers structure and monitor these environments, the company partnered with Paessler AG and began using PRTG Network Monitor alongside its own industrial network expertise.

Paessler AG and Process Automation Solutions built the “TINA” solution, using PRTG’s agentless monitoring, custom sensors, and support for protocols like SNMP, OPC UA, MODBUS TCP, and more to track DCS, PLCs, legacy Honeywell systems, switches, and network health. The result was faster root-cause analysis and proactive issue resolution, including identifying a memory leak that caused redundant server swaps and detecting faulty switch hardware behind packet loss, helping restore connectivity and prevent production delays.
