Jena University Hospital, a large university medical center in Thuringia, Germany, needed a way to monitor its complex, distributed IT and medical-device environment to avoid outages that could disrupt patient care. With critical systems including imaging equipment, DICOM routers, and hospital IT infrastructure spread across multiple sites, the hospital turned to Paessler AG and its PRTG Network Monitor for centralized oversight.
