Globalia, the leading Spanish tourism group, needed a better way to monitor IT resource consumption, capacity, event management, and 24/7 operations across its businesses serving 15,000 people. After finding previous open-source and commercial monitoring tools difficult to use, the company chose Paessler AG and its PRTG Network Monitor for easier deployment and use by non-expert staff.

Paessler AG implemented PRTG with a virtualized Core Server and five remote probes, enabling Globalia to monitor 12,500 sensors across servers, networks, storage, applications, databases, backups, and external sites. The solution was deployed in three months and helped reduce operational costs, improve response times and SLA performance, support capacity planning and forensic analysis, and provide a real-time 360-degree view of the infrastructure.
