Ensuring uninterrupted power supply for Mumbai

Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) needed a reliable way to monitor and control its SCADA-based electrical distribution network across Mumbai, supporting uninterrupted power for 3.1 million consumers. After a year-long evaluation, the company selected Paessler AG’s PRTG Network Monitor to meet demanding requirements for monitoring optical and electric power parameters, billing data, and more than 1,000 devices in a complex, unmanned, mission-critical environment.

With Paessler AG’s PRTG, AEML built a scalable monitoring setup covering 300 power substations, a cash collection center, CCTV devices, and over 1,000 network devices. The solution improved alerting, escalation, and technician assignment, significantly reducing the burden on NOC operations while helping ensure uninterrupted power supply and supporting ongoing expansion thanks to flexible licensing and strong support.
