Bystronic Keeps an Eye on its Worldwide IT Network

Bystronic, the Swiss engineering specialist, needed a single way to monitor its growing global IT environment across multiple distributed sites and countries. With a mix of systems already in use, the company wanted centralized visibility into the status of devices, servers, and applications, along with an easy-to-use dashboard for the IT team. Paessler AG implemented PRTG with remote probes so Bystronic could monitor worldwide networks from one central console. The solution tracks 2,750 SNMP and WMI sensors across the USA, China, and Switzerland, covering network components, server hardware, CPU load, and memory. As a result, Bystronic receives early warnings and email alerts when thresholds are crossed, helping the IT team detect issues before users notice them and avoid downtime across its infrastructure.
