Tower, a Germany-based B2B version control client for Mac and Windows, wanted to move from perpetual licenses to a subscription, per-seat SaaS model and grow enterprise accounts. Paddle served as Tower’s Merchant of Record, providing subscription billing, self-service checkout, subscription webhooks and a flexible API, plus account support to plan the migration, run a public beta and enable mid-subscription seat changes. Using Paddle’s platform, Tower expanded its customer base, grew revenue 96% year-over-year, achieved a 75% annual renewal rate and ramped up team and enterprise sales.
