A Paddle Case Study
iMyMac, a Guangzhou-based maker of Mac utilities (PowerMyMac, Mac Cleaner), was preparing to expand into new markets but struggled with low conversion rates, high chargebacks, limited localization and little feedback from its billing provider. To tackle these challenges it engaged Paddle as its billing and payments partner.
Paddle ran a one-month sprint that replaced iMyMac’s legacy checkout with Paddle’s Overlay checkout, used A/B testing and the Pricing API for currency and language localization, and recommended website and UX changes. The work delivered immediate uplift—conversions rose from 45% to 54% after initial implementation and to 61% after site changes—and revenue doubled within the first month, while iMyMac gained real‑time visibility into orders, conversions and chargebacks through Paddle.
