Hatch Entertainment, a Finland-based mobile gaming company founded in 2016, wanted to build a next-generation game streaming platform with social features that could deliver low-latency gameplay globally. To support that challenge, the team needed infrastructure that was scalable, automation-friendly, and optimized for edge deployment and ARM-based compute, so they partnered with Packet.
Packet provided bare metal cloud infrastructure and API-driven automation across global datacenters, including an initial deployment in Amsterdam and a rapid expansion to Marseille when Hatch needed to grow in Europe. The result was a fast, operationally manageable platform that launched live traffic within hours of new capacity coming online, and by the time of the case study Hatch was serving users in 18 countries across roughly half of Europe.
