How a small sustainability team went big on climate

Athletic Greens, a global health and wellness company, sought to achieve its Climate Neutral certification and address its significant carbon footprint, which was primarily composed of Scope 3 emissions. The challenge was to find a trusted and effective method for carbon offsetting that aligned with the company's mission and could provide a compelling story to its customers.

To meet this challenge, Athletic Greens partnered with Pachama to invest in tech-verified forest carbon projects. Pachama provided the quality assurance and analysis needed for the company to confidently invest in high-impact avoided deforestation initiatives. As a result, Athletic Greens successfully offset its entire 2022 footprint of 61,044 tCO2e, investing nearly a million dollars through Pachama to support projects like the Central Kalimantan Peatlands while simplifying its sustainability efforts through a single, trusted partner.
