Boston Consulting Group (BCG) sought to lead by example on corporate climate responsibility and fulfill its ambitious net-zero commitment, which required sourcing high-quality carbon credits. To build a transparent and impactful nature-based investment portfolio, the customer partnered with vendor Pachama to utilize its technology for project evaluation and monitoring.

Pachama's technology provided BCG with critical transparency and visibility into their carbon projects, enabling effective due diligence and ongoing performance tracking. With this solution, BCG successfully retired 406 ktCO₂e in credits from nine projects in 2022, funding a mix of avoidance and removal efforts while remaining on track to meet its 2030 climate goals.
