A&O, Europe’s largest private hostel chain, needed to modernize its revenue management approach across a complex mix of hostels, hotels, and conference centres. After a six-month procurement process, the company selected Pace Revenue Management’s pricing platform to replace its outdated static pricing model and support more data-driven commercial decisions.

Pace Revenue Management implemented a fully dynamic pricing solution across all 39 properties in just three months, with hourly updates and a 365-day booking window, later complemented by its Analytics platform. The results were strong: A&O reported a 27.4% increase in RGI in August 2020 vs. 2019, 7% higher net room revenue in a Frankfurt property’s 90-day booking window, a 22% estimated revenue uplift in the summer 2020 rebound, and 5% higher pickup in August 2020 compared with the previous year.
