PA Consulting worked with Wasa Kredit, a Swedish finance business, to help it respond quickly to a growing demand among small and medium-sized businesses for online leasing of equipment and machinery. Wasa Kredit needed to move faster than competitors and create a compelling digital offering for e-commerce equipment financing.

PA Consulting built an agile, customer-centric digital leasing platform that customers could access through retailers’ websites, allowing equipment to be leased over 12, 24, or 36 months in seconds. The pilot was developed in just four months, giving Wasa Kredit a nine-month head start over competitors, saving staff 40 minutes per transaction, and eventually expanding to nearly 60 retailers.
