Case Study: Danish Municipality improves employee satisfaction with PA Consulting's robotic process automation

Using robotic process automation to free employees to do their best work

PA Consulting worked with a Danish Municipality that was already using UiPath robotic process automation in HR to handle simple employee promotion tasks, but wanted to do more with its investment. The municipality asked PA Consulting to review one of its largest departments and identify additional processes that could be automated to reduce repetitive work and improve efficiency.

PA Consulting assessed a broad set of processes against 15 criteria and delivered a prioritized automation roadmap with recommendations for next steps. The review found some cost-saving opportunities, but the bigger impact was employee experience: RPA could take over frequent, rule-based tasks and free staff to focus on more valuable work, with the municipality now planning broader RPA adoption across the organization.
