Frimley Health and Integrated Care System (Frimley ICS) needed a way to make better use of data from partner health organisations to improve patient care and plan more efficient services for 800,000 people. PA Consulting helped them build a data lab using Microsoft Azure cloud technology, with a focus on securely using shared data while keeping ownership and control within the ICS.

PA Consulting implemented a rapid proof of concept around predicting seven-day repeat GP visits from appointment-book data, then expanded the analysis to A&E admissions and cancer care. The approach delivered accurate predictions and actionable insights to help manage staffing, identify frequent users, and support clinicians, and it was set up in just four weeks with a scalable, cost-efficient data lab.
