Transforming Riyadh into the ‘go-to’ business destination for global investors in the Middle East

Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry worked with PA Consulting to help turn Riyadh into a leading business destination in the Middle East, supporting Saudi Vision 2030’s push to diversify the economy beyond hydrocarbons. The chamber needed a strategy to strengthen the city’s business and innovation ecosystem, including infrastructure, public services, university-industry links, and financial and legal frameworks.

PA Consulting carried out an in-depth assessment of Riyadh’s current capabilities versus what was needed for global competitiveness, then designed 35 ready-to-implement initiatives with clear costs, timelines, resource needs, and impact estimates. Riyadh Chamber selected 20 priority initiatives to launch immediately, giving the city a practical roadmap toward becoming the region’s go-to business destination and helping support the Kingdom’s long-term economic diversification goals.
