Case Study: Coram Beanstalk helps more children read with PA Consulting

Transforming children’s lives by turning them into confident, passionate and able readers

Coram Beanstalk, a UK charity that helps children who have fallen behind with reading through one-to-one literacy support, wanted to grow its reach and increase its impact. PA Consulting worked with the organization to redesign how it operates so it could better support schools and volunteers, improve reliability, and make participation less overwhelming.

PA Consulting’s business design and IT transformation teams developed a new operating model, growth plans for brand awareness and recruitment, and a strategic plan for cloud-based IT systems. PA Consulting also helped Coram Beanstalk secure £1 million from the Dream Fund for a new early-years project, putting the charity on track to scale its services and help more children in the years ahead.
